Vaughan Hewett
Vaughan Hewett is a disgraced former Ukip councillor for Rainham North ward and a former mayor of Medway. He represented Rainham North ward between May 2007 and May 2015.

Vaughan served as the mayor of Medway between May 2012 and May 2013. He also served as the deputy mayor of Medway between May 2010 and May 2011.
Vaughan has stood in three elections in Medway. He has been elected on two occasions.
In November 2022, Vaughan was found guilty of dangerous driving after driving his car at a nurse at a covid testing centre in April 2021. He was acquitted of assault on an emergency worker over the same incident. He was fined £500, banned from driving for twelve months, and was ordered to pay court costs of £2,000 and to pay compensation of £500 to the victim.

Voting History
