Area Development Control West Committee
The area development control west committee had responsibility for determining planning applications, planning and building control enforcement and issues relating to tree preservation orders for the west of Medway until April 2004.
The area development control west committee had responsibility for the following council wards: Cuxton and Halling, Peninsula, River, Rochester East, Rochester South and Horsted, Rochester West, Strood North, Strood Rural and Strood South.
Responsibility for considering planning applications passed to the development control committee in May 2004, and then to the planning committee in January 2010.
