Earl
Earl was a two-member ward which elected councillors for the first time in May 1979. The ward was abolished in April 1998 when Rochester-upon-Medway city council was merged with Gillingham borough council.
There have been five elections in Earl ward. In the last election in May 1995, Labour received the highest number of votes and won both seats.
Voters in the ward have only ever elected Labour councillors.
