Ernest Lamb
1st Baron Rochester
The Rt Hon. Ernest Lamb CMG is a former Liberal member of parliament for Rochester. He most recently represented the constituency between December 1910 and December 1918.
In January 1931, he was given a hereditary peerage as Baron Rochester and entered the House of Lords as a Labour peer. He remained in the House of Lords until January 1955.
During his time in parliament, Lord Rochester served as HM paymaster general.
Lord Rochester has stood in three elections in Medway. He has been elected on two occasions.
