John Gorst
The Rt Hon. Sir John Gorst KC FRS is a former Conservative member of parliament for Chatham. He represented the constituency between February 1875 and July 1892.
During his time in parliament, Sir John served as vice-president of the committee on education, financial secretary to the treasury, under-secretary of state for India, and solicitor general.
Sir John has stood in five elections in Medway and won all of those elections.
