North
North was a three-member ward which elected councillors for the first time in June 1973. The ward was abolished in May 1979 following a boundary review.
There have been two elections in North ward. In the last election in May 1976, the Conservatives received the highest number of votes and won one of the seats. Labour won the remaining two seats.
Voters in the ward have only ever elected Conservative or Labour councillors.
