Gerald Kaufman
The Rt Hon. Sir Gerald Kaufman has stood in one election in Medway but has never held elected office within the towns. He most recently stood as a Labour parliamentary candidate in Gillingham in 1959.

Sir Gerald is a former Labour member of parliament for Manchester Gorton in Greater Manchester.
During his time in parliament, Sir Gerald served as minister of state for industry, parliamentary under-secretary of state for industry, and parliamentary under-secretary of state for the environment.
