An election was held in Lordswood ward on 4 May 2000 to elect three councillors.
Prior to the election, Labour held two of the seats and the Conservatives held the other seat. Following the election, the Conservatives gained two of the seats from Labour and held the reamining seat.
Juliette Marcia Andrews, David Robert Wildey and Carol Ann Hattersley were elected as councillors for the ward.
