An election was held in Cuxton and Halling ward on 4 May 2000 to elect two councillors.
Prior to the election, both of the seats were held by Labour. Following the election, the Conservatives gained both of the seats from Labour.
Jane Elizabeth Etheridge and Anthony Cawte were elected as councillors for the ward.
