St Margaret's and Borstal

An election was held in St Margaret's and Borstal ward on 1 May 1997 to elect three councillors.
It was the first election to be held in the ward following the creation of Medway council. The Conservatives won two of the new seats and Labour won the remaining new seat.
Edward Winton Baker, Susan Jennifer Haydock and Wynford Vaughan Thomas were elected as councillors for the ward.
